Tasks Summary
- Oversee the development of the annual training plan and its implementation.
- Receive information from the Head of Faculty Development unit with regards to academic staff trainings and development.
- Oversee the training needs analysis process of both academic and administrative staff.
- Oversee communications made with training service providers in order to identify training courses.
- Oversee the implementation of training programmes and ensure their quality and trainee satisfaction.
- Follow up on the financial and administrative procedures of each course to ensure its success.
- Coordinate with any member of staff who have special needs to carry out various training programmes.
- Follow up on payments for training service providers.
- Propose, follow up and implement the training programmes for the university staff.
- Prepare the required statistics and refer them to the bodies that have requested them.
- Deliver training programmes to university staff as when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably with a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences.
- Preferably with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of finance, human resources management and training software.
- Vision and a spirit of leadership.
- Good time- and resource-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good conversation and communication skills.
- The ability to encourage, persuade and solve urgent problems.
- The ability to lead a work team and work under pressure.
